Fall 2021 Tips for Pets

Happy first day of Fall! With the changing of the seasons and the leaves, there are plenty of scares and unknowns lying around, including ticks. During the fall, it is especially important to continue applying topical such as  frontline  or give chewable flea and tick preventatives such as credelio ,  simparica  or bravecto. While it may still be fairly warm, during the late fall we can still see cooler weather. Try to minimize time outside especially when the weather is cooler, especially late at night or when the weather is freezing. This can minimize the chances of getting frostbite on the paws. We have been seeing many lost pets lately. Make sure if your pet has been  microchipped , that you have been updating information to ensure your furry friend is returned to you.  Keep all school supplies away from pets.
